CPL GROUP’S CHARITY ARM, CPL FOUNDATION, SUPPORTS MENSTRUAL HEALTH OUTREACH
CPL Group through its charity arm, CPL Foundation, continues to break barriers on the learning of the importance of feminine hygiene and health.
In a two-part partnership with reusable pads brand, Queenpads, the retailer will stock the pads in its City Pharmacy outlets nationwide, and also conduct awareness sessions across PNG.
“We have visited Lae and Mt Hagen recently and they have been great success.
We will go to East New Britain, Madang and the Bougainville region,” said Mr Ajay Patel- Projects Manager for the CPL Group.
The sessions include topics on hygiene, health, and the effective use of reusable and disposable pads.
” We have a target population of students, workers and adult community members.
Females make up a majority of the attendees in the audience, but we are open to the male populace attending, and they do show an interest in learning more- which is very encouraging,” said Ms Anne-Shirley Korave- CEO of Queenpads Products Limited- makers of Queenpads.
The outreach program has so far reached over 500 participants.
The reusable pads last 5years, and are sold at select City Pharmacy outlets nationwide.
