2018 Community Projects

Ginigoada Foundation originated in 2002 to help disadvantaged young people and adolescents develop financial skills, to improve their chances of employment or run their own income generating activity.

Our partnership with Ginigoada Foundation in sponsoring the BUS 4 Financial Literacy Skills program started in 2013 in Port Moresby and 2015 in Lae.

The main topics of the Training covers include: Basic Business Awareness, Cash Book, Income and Budgeting, Costing and Pricing, Business Plan Development, Health and Hygiene, First Aid, Conflict Resolution and Planning, Set Up and Operating a Community Enterprise Group (CEG).

In 2018, Port Moresby BUS 4 held 23 sessions in various communities and graduating a total of 2601 participants and Lae BUS 4 held 21 sessions in various communitieis and graduating a total of 3006 participants. A total of 5607 participants.

The impact of the program with the success stories shared by past participants had inspired others to attend and the numbers kept increasing, which is a good sign for more people taking education seriously. Bascially, the course is tailored to suit the participants ease of understanding with practical skills to enhance their knowledge..
