CPL Foundation Begins Sign Up Sessions

CPL Foundation is proud to kick-start its sign-up sessions for the Pride of PNG Awards for Women Empowerment. The sessions were held at the Stop & Shop Harbor City and the POM City Markets event at the National Arts Museum recently.

The Pride of PNG Awards 2022 sign up sessions began in earnest as it enlisted sign up sessions for nominations for its biennial Awards for women’s empowerment.

CPL Group’s charity arm, CPL Foundation officers signing up members of the public at CPL Group’s Stop &Shop Harbour City.

The Awards is a community initiative of the CPL Group and was established as a means of recognizing and celebrating the tireless efforts of women making a positive difference in their communities.

“We are encouraged by the turnout for our sign up session on location in our stores and social sites in Port Moresby. We would like to reach a network into the far reaches of Papua New Guinea who are making a positive difference in their communities,” said Mr Ajay Patel, Project Manager at CPL Group.

The nominations are open for six categories honouring bravery, courage and compassion, selflessness, education, youth and the environment.

The forms are available in any CPL Group store, and online on the Group’s Facebook page and website.
